Spring is hatching. I hope your heart is open to the weekend unfolding and that you rejoice in the season of spiritual gifts. We are sprinkling our home with symbols of the season. Here are a few ideas for decorating eggs!
We stamped our intentions on this collection after painting these eggs using diluted acrylic paints.
A Lilly Pulitzer inspired egg that my daughter created! A mosaic of Lilly patterned papers covers this sweet egg.
The process for creating the egg below began with a small dish of room temperature water. We added one drop of nail polish and patiently allowed it to spread in the water. We added separate colors of nail polish, one drop at a time. Using a toothpick, we swirled the colors and then dipped the egg into the water.
In the center of the crown is an egg covered in tissue paper. We used Mod Podge to attach the tissue paper and found it worked so well, we made several!
We made “intention” eggs using Tim Holtz pressure-sensitive transfer words.
I hope you discover many blessings this Easter weekend.
