“Intention sets the tone for the way you start something and has the greatest effect on its outcome…
it can be a dedication, a point of focus, or simply the lens through which you would like to see.”
-Mandy Ingber, from the book Yogalosophy
The countdown is on… and I know you are busy making everything merry and bright in your corner of the world. My Christmas wish? I wish I could tap my heels together and appear on your doorstep to gift you with my intention ornaments. I love the simplicity of these light messengers. Since I don’t own sparkly red shoes, here is how you can make one (or a dozen)!
Rub-ons + clear ornaments = bliss gifts
After successfully creating the first ornament I learned a lesson during my confident second try: apply gentle pressure as you move the phrase (the rub-on remnant) to the glass ornament. I used a popsicle stick to apply pressure and I wound up with a pile of crushed glass on my second attempt (apparently I didn’t adhere to the rule on gentle). Or gently write on the glass with a Sharpie creating your own custom messages.
