“I want you to live fully, love well,
let go deeply, and know that you matter.
Let’s re-discover the extraordinary in everyday life, every day.
No urgent striving, just amazing being.
Inhale lightness. Exhale heaviness.”
– Patti Digh
If you have ever clicked on my about button you know I adore author Patti Digh (Digh rhymes with pie!) I have yet to meet Patti, but I feel as though I know her after reading and re-reading two of her popular books: Creative is a Verb and Life is a Verb. I have gifted her books countless times, I follower her Twitter feed and read her blog. Patti makes me laugh, cry and ponder. Lots of soul-searching courtesy of Patti Digh.
Today I stumbled upon a new John Mayer song – Love is a Verb! Of course I immediately purchased the song on iTunes based on the title alone. Click here to preview the track (#8)! iTunes – Music – Born and Raised by John Mayer – Apple
It is the perfect theme song for my project today. I am working on last-minute projects for a weekend wedding. On May 27, a long-time dear friend is getting MARRIED… Since the moment they met it has been the real deal. Bliss. True Love. It is the sweetest and most enduring thing to witness, especially since another friend and I plotted this relationship long before they actually met. Happy for them doesn’t even begin to describe it. Euphoric? Maybe. I am predicting there will be some tears of joy during the ceremony!
“She said she usually cried at least once each day
not because she was sad,
but because the world was so beautiful and life was so short.”
– Brian Andreas, StoryPeople artist
This project is all about creative function. I am working small tissue packets and adding a Tears of Joy tag.
