“She said she usually cried at least once each day not because she was sad, but because the world was so beautiful and life was so short.” Brian Andreas
I was out late on 2.9.12 celebrating my friends’ engagement! Happy tears and joyful dreaming. We celebrated by listening to Keith Pulvermacher cover Mumford & Sons, Kings of Leon and other splendid songs sprinkled with Keith’s original music. I entered my room in the dark only to wake up to this lovely birthday surprise. Thank you, sweet Emma.
Unfortunately the creative time slot was compressed and all my big plans for Photo Friday were stalled. All I managed to accomplish was to hang a nail on the wall to post this lovely frame. I bought the wooden frame years ago at an antique store. I later added glass pieces in each slot to repurpose the object as a frame. It has successfully transitioned from something I move around my laundry room (where it was stored) to its final “home.” I love the textured wood against the paint. Yahoo!
Birthday blessings: kind words, laughing with friends and family, awesome text message with positive medical news out of NYC about our dear friend Jack, surprise packages arriving in the mail, divine brownies, heart sprinkles on chocolate cupcakes, mani/pedi, new jewelry (swoon), new yoga mat, concert tickets, candles and a new book filled with creative ideas = gratitude.
