Successful day on multiple levels volunteering at the Annual Ann’s Hope 5k Run & 3K Walk to raise research dollars to find a cure for melanoma cancer.  Record attendance, meaningful moments, safe experience for runners and walkers, adorable little racers in our second annual kids run, laughter and tears and hopefully record-breaking money raised for melanoma research.  Bursting with gratitude for every single  volunteer – especially those that have been involved since our first race back in 2005 on the trails behind Country Springs & Westwood.  So proud of the heart and soul of Ann’s Hope: its co-founders, Ann Harrington and Anne Frentzel.

More details in a future post.  Promise.

En route to the Milwaukee County Zoo at 4:45 a.m.

Good morning…

Our joyful greeter representing a generous supporter! We love our sponsors.

Elleri and a new friend to the Ann’s Hope family!

The animals created an awesome experience for our runners and walkers.

And, the rain held off until 4 p.m. long after we had left the zoo!

Oh… and the hope necklaces are gone!  Yahoo!
