“The happiness of life is made up of little things – a smile, a helping hand, a caring heart, a word of praise, a moment of shared laughter.
We are most alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures.”
– Thornton Wilder
Everything is alright with me.
Maybe I’ve got everything I need.
I don’t have a lot
But I love what I’ve got and that’s the key.
I stumbled upon a brilliant little song last week (Everything by Abby Payne.) The heartfelt lyrics are sung like a poem.
I am wondering if you see what I see via the steam above my coffee cup? Can you believe it? Lots of hearts have been showing up lately… In case you don’t exactly see what I see, re-vist the coffee’s steam on the upper left corner. And, look what I found in a bag of granola. No kidding… Obviously I found something else for breakfast. I am saving this bag of granola and labeling it “divine.”
After a lot of overwhelm today, the day finally eased into night with a quiet dark drive home with one of my daughters sitting on my right. In one tiny moment we both observed the magic of a shooting star. For real… Which prompted me to share this recent mirror project.
Here is a peak at another lyric mirror I made and gifted to a dear friend. There is a tender story behind these lyrics and this particular gift made with a lot of love. It is a story I will save for another day.
Love this message I discovered while running. You can’t actually see my smile in the reflection, but I assure you, it is there…. Please pass it on.
