“When we are doing what we love, we don’t care about time.

For at least at that moment, time doesn’t exist and we are truly free.”

Isn’t time our most precious resource?  I am currently in the midst of justifying in my mind permission to take the time to create, play, run, etc. when a long to-do list is hanging its guilty shadow over me.  If only I could make time…

Our local Great Harvest store has a brilliant antique photo mounted on a burlap canvas.  On each visit to the store, I examine that canvas and marvel at its texture and ponder how it was created.  The style is just like the canvas featured at the top of this post.  I purchased this canvas at Marshall’s for $7!   The transformation is described below!  Love!!!

I printed wallet-sized photos from our June Chicago trip. I edited each photo to sepia tones.

I used a cap from a old film canister as a template to trim each wallet sized image to create photo circles.

I used Tacky Glue to attach each photo to each clock on the canvas.
