I have been snapping heart photos since 2006 after we suddenly lost my sister-in-law, Heather Hart. It is a thread to honor her light and spirit and heal through photography, a passion we both shared.
Heart hunting is finding the extraordinary in an everyday moment. The magic and wonder of the universe providing a symbolic reminder that love is all there is.
Today I created a lovely compilation my favorite heart photos.
Perhaps you have heard of Drew Barrymore’s new book, Find it in Everything??!
Want to create a collage with your beloved photos? Pick a theme and run with it!
The process is simple (honestly)…
1.) Click to open the online editing tool, PicMonkey and elect to create a collage.
2.) Choose square deal or any collage theme (grid) that appeals to you.
3.) Load your photos and place them within the grid (you have the option of editing each box!).
4.) Save your masterpiece.
5.) Print! My favorite resource for printing large images is my local Office Max. It’s always inexpensive. And, its quick and I adore the matte finish. I printed this in 16 x 20, trimmed it to a square and framed it within an old bulletin board.
My 2014 photography intentions (ah, there it is.. my dear word) include:
a.) fully embracing the manual settings on my camera (scary!) and
b.) transitioning my favorite photos from my Mac to my world.
I hope this series inspires you to honor your photos in a way that speaks to your heart.
