“Not all those who wander are lost.”
– J.R.R. Tolkien
May is unfolding in a whirl of craziness. I feel like I have too many commitments and the overwhelm is impeding my judgement on where to start and how to follow-through. Or, maybe I am just distracted by the lovely weather? I am moving from room to room at my home and office starting projects (severely neglected tasks) in a rhythm of start, stall, repeat. This morning I was all set to both start and complete a project… When the dog insisted that we go out for a morning run. This was not in the plan. The dog was persistent and dramatic (which started with whining…and moved to full-on crying) and the next thing I knew I caved in and we were out and on our way to a nearby trail. She ran with complete overwhelming and contagious joy.
A beautiful day to be out and exploring instead of worrying about clutter and incomplete tasks. The natural ebb and flow of life is perfectly imperfect! This aha moment was the most creative part of my day.
